[Tip] Disable Java 1.6
by Dan Garrett
You have probably found out the hard way that Servoy 2.2 doesn't run on Java 6.0. Here's how to disable Java 6.0 when you need to run Servoy 2.2:
Run the Java Control Panel Applet. Select the Java Tab.
Select the View button under the "Java Application Runtime Settings" on
the bottom half of the Tab.
De-select the "Enabled" checkmark next to Java 6.0 and higher.
Verify this is set for both User and System Tabs.
That's it.

2.2 should run fine under java6.
What happens at your place then? Most likely you have the problem with the default proxy setting of java 6:
Java Console -> Network settings-> general tab i believe and the there Direct Connection should be selected instead of browser (or one of the others)
